This book examines sexual behaviors between men and women in contemporary relationships. It specifically dicusses the culture of males who pretend to persue a relationship, but have an ultimate goal of sex. Biblical reference is given to help men and women understand their roles in relationships. After hearing soooo many women bring up this topic in my daily travels, for some period of time, I felt compelled to write, Let Not Your Heart Be Hardened: A Message for Today's Single Woman. You can read the 1st chapter, The Open Door Effect, at www.rhemapublishing.net/CGI-BIN/letnotyourheartbehardenedch1.pdf
I recognize that both men and women play this sexual game of, "Once I've had sex with you, I'm gone". However, generically speaking, the men have the monopoly on this game. When you have encountered someone like this, know that they are shallow, and lack understanding of intimacy--not sex, but real intimacy. It is selfish and destructive behavior. Women in particular cannot and should not continue to be silent of such treatment. If men continue to open the door to this destructive behavior, women have the power to close it. Women--stop complaining and do something about it! If you challenge it, it will change. I do encourage the men who have an understanding, of how shallow and destructive these sexual games are, to pass on their wisdom to the youth and older males in the community. We must teach what we know, and encourage others to come up higher in their thinking and living. We are all effected by it.
In order for our behavior to change, we must experience a change in our thought process. Women, and men must change the way we view the opposite sex, the value we place on people and relationships and God. We must view what we say and how we treat others as either nurturing or destructive. We must think beyound ourselves and consider the systemmic consequences of our behavior. Making God and his word the head of our lives means that we can prosper in our relationships. When we think of everyone we meet as a creation of God, and handle each person with care, and truth and love, then we honor the creator as well as the creation. When we honor the creator, he will honor us, collectively and individually. If you are male or female and are playing sexual games, stop it now! The power is in your hands. What will you decide?

Hey Girl... I'm completly inspired by your words. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Love, Jan
Bernadene - although this book is intended for women who have already been injured by trickery - I think perhaps this book could do much to save a generation of young women before they get tricked into letting evil slip in.
Perhpas Christian schools (particularly Catholic) would be interested in buying this book as a part of their sexual education - or perhaps it could be recommended to school parents through faithful principals...
There is also a non profit group of young people preaching the word of sexuality morality to young people...perhaps there is a natural fit for you two?
God bless you for sharing your story - There is no greater love than this - to sacrifice one's life for a friend AND live to tell about it!
